Our Travels - Day 11: Wooroloo to Dongara: August 29th 2007

"Tail End Charlie" spent the morning at the Dowerin Field Days where there was a lot of interest in the tractor and our re enactment.  We then headed to our next overnight stop at Dongara through heavy and constant rain, which was wonderful for the surrounding farm lands.

An enjoyable evening was spent at the Priory Lodge where we enjoyed a delicious meal and afterwards a very successful auction was held.  A wonderful variety of locally donated goods was held and we sincerely thank the Dongara community so much for their generous support - nearly $6,000 was raised.  Special thanks to Robyn for all the organising she did.

When we arrived at Dongara, we were pleased to welcome Jeff and Wendy Fordham from Badgingarra who are joining our team as far as Darwin.
