Our Travels - Day 14: Carnarvon to Fortescue: Sept 1st 2007

An extremely successful evening was held last night at the Wintersun Caravan Park with Tiffany and family being very supportive of our cause.  Friday nights they hold a free sausage sizzle for park patrons which was much appreciated.

Before the meal was served Dick and Jeff gave a brief talk about our trip and George talked about his brush with prostate cancer from which he has now fully recovered.  Everyone there was very interested in what we are doing and supported us with donations and merchandise purchases.

First off this morning, the tractor was parked at the Carnarvon Markets where we again had a great deal of interest in our activities and our team briefly enjoyed the market produce.

As our two members from South Australia had not visited Coral Bay or Exmouth, they were able to break off from the group to visit these lovely areas.
