Our Travels - Day 17: Broome: September 4th 2007

A relaxing day in Broome, and doing all the jobs which needed doing whilst travelling, shopping, washing, checking mechanics, etc. 'Tail End Charlie' toured the town to raise awareness of what we are promoting, for people to have their regular prostate and breast health check ups.

We all headed to Cable Beach where one of our members enjoyed her first camel ride, and TEC drove up and down the beach raising funds and awareness for our cause.  Many thanks to all community members and tourists for their wonderful support.  A beautiful sunset was witnessed and at the close of the day, all TEC members declared they'd had a relaxing break, and were ready to head off the next day.
