A lovely relaxing day with the group enjoying sightseeing activities at the Stockmans' Hall of Fame, Qantas Museum, shopping for supplies and general housework type activities.
Ron had an interview with Leonie from ABC in Longreach and took her for a drive in the tractor.
The team presented Ron & Kerry with a voucher for overnight accommodation and dinner at a local motor inn, plus a bag of goodies and a bottle of champagne as a welcome back gift. Ron & Kerry were thrilled to receive this and promised to enjoy the evening.
The rest of the group took the tractor to the Hall of Fame and Qantas for photos at sunset and then enjoyed chinese takeaway.
