Our Travels - Day 34 Tamworth:  September 21st, 2007

A relatively relaxing day with some of the crew carrying out maintenance on the tractor and afterwards, an enjoyable sausage sizzle was provided by Neville and Jenny Thompson.  Several of the attendees from last night's meeting also attended and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Some of the group took the opportunity to sight-see around Tamworth and visit the Golden Guitar Museum.  Allan purchased a CD by the 'Bobkatz' at the gift shop there and he was amazed to find it included a song about a Chamberlain Tractor - a song about a small boy who left the country but never forgot his experience of driving in a tractor.

At 3.00 pm our tractor was back at the Information Centre and again created much interest - then back to the caravan park where many of the patrons also showed considerable interest.

A farewell dinner with our Tamworth friends was enjoyed at the local Chinese Restaurant.
